Dear God I need to pray

8 May

Dear God is a global project for people around the world to share their innermost hopes – and fears – through prayer.
It doesn’t matter what your version of God is…Jesus, Allah, Buddha or simply a spiritual universal energy… praying to a higher power soothes and heals. It’s scientifically proven that people who pray are healthier, happier and more resilient.
Share your prayers and help people create hope one prayer at a time. Simply send your personal letter to your God and/or a picture that sums up your message visually. (Dear God will source a picture if you don’t have one).
Thank you God!

Without setting up an account you can download the application, add it to your applications folder and drag the QuickShareIt to your dock. Then you can drag and drop your files to start uploading to the QuickShareIt servers. If you set up an account you can also easily organize your files.

We love mix tapes

16 Apr

Thanks to Mixwit we are now able to make sharable mix tapes on the web. The company founded by Radley Marx and Michael Christoff provides an easy way to create mix tapes with songs found through MP3 search engine Seeqpod. After creating your mix you can send the link to your friends, post it on your blog or social networking site (Facebook, MySpace, Blogger, …).
The players look like real cassette tapes, with moving spools. You can modify the look and feel of the tape, the font, and the playlist. It’s even possible to upload your own artwork to create your skin. The site’s instructions read: “It’s your mix, so make something unique. Add pictures, photos, artwork, drawings, …”
Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? So go make a tape, it’s free!
